As an NAA Ambassador, we’ve been working hard to secure proclamations on the state and local level of Georgia.
Here’s our progress so far:

Why is this so important?
Raising awareness is critical because early diagnosis, therapy, and ongoing support can significantly improve quality of life and long-term outcomes. Greater awareness also helps patients and caregivers better understand available Medicare benefits, insurance coverage options, and advocacy efforts that support access to speech-language therapy and other essential services. By increasing understanding of aphasia, we can help ensure more individuals receive the care, resources, and coverage they need to thrive.
